Bits and pieces

by Matthew Brewes on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 11:53pm

Just some fragments that floated thru my mind today.

…I’ll undo you right down to the bone,

Unravel you like a cable knit sweater

Tugging at each thread of flesh

Until you are nothing but a bouquet of gorey ribbons

Clutched tightly in white-knuckled fist…

Kind of strange, but there you have it…and now for something completely different…

Boot heel shuffle scrape

Ten thousand drops of sweat spatter

On furnace hot pavemnet sky

Battery acid sizzle burn

Grease slick fingers grubby and clutching

Hungry hollow faces with chins a-drip

Frothing, howling madness fractal spin

Into, out through the depth of the width

making sense only to scruffy collared ravens

Hoarce voiced hacking cough cackling…

and that’s that…I’m not even sure what to make of these, but that’s what happens when you have too much time on your hands and not enough lotion…
